It's hot and we are headed for the creek! No, you may not go to the creek. Big storms are coming, the weather forecast says! The creek will get dangerously swollen, so no-one may go down.

Folks obey the honeys with the bullhorns, and trudge back to their camps. But then, someone decides that the weather forecast is a bunch of hooey so everyone can go in again!

Everyone congregated in the main pool. I would have more pictures of this lovely pool but all the naked people got in the way. More creeks lie upstream and downstream, none quite as deep and large.

Around 5 pm, both the water and the air are warm and pleasant for either swimming or not swimming. Dana was right, as always. Flipside is delightful. Also he has the best hair.

The main pool is left of the frame; the folks in the background are headed upstream. Here the path is open, but further it's overgrown and you'd better watch out because there's poison oak. Consider wading in the creek instead.

An upstream pool we had all to ourselves.
